There are 7 main chakras that align down the center of the body. The 7 main chakras start from the base of the spine up to the crown of the head. They form the front and back aspects of a chakra. Front is related to a person’s feelings and back is related to the will. Each chakra has a certain function and specific colour. Each chakra is connected to the human energy field. They have a tremendous amount of energy in them. Their energy needs to flow freely. The more the energy flows, the healthier the human system will be. If this energy does not flow freely than it can cause emotional and physical distress on the body. It can also cause changes in the nervous system as it is also connected to the chakras.
